Bar Code

It is an electronic method of identifying the package and provides information of trade items attributes. In addition, it enhances the efficiency of product storage and retrieval. Bar coding enables reduce in receiving operations time and data collection labour. It helps to improve data collection accuracy and integration of data collection with other various areas. A bar code reader is used to decode the information into electronic signal.
Bar Code Reader
A bar Code reader (or bar code scanner) is a computer peripheral for reading bar codes printed on various surfaces. Like a flatbed scanner, it generally consists of a light source, a lens and a photo conductor translating optical impulses into electrical ones. In addition, nearly all bar code readers currently produced contain decoder circuitry analyzing the bar code's image data provided by the photo conductor and sending the bar code's content to the scanner's output port.

The bar code label printer is used to generate a printable and scannable bar code in Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 39, Code 128 A, B, or C symbologies.
